Lomakeskuksen kuvaus
Paikalliseen kartanoon kuuluva hollantilaistyylinen tuulimylly sijaitsee 9 km ennen Virtsua, Pivarootsin kylässä Länsi-Virossa, 700 metrin kävelymatkan päässä merestä. Tuulimylly on rakennettu vuonna 1869 ja restauroitu vuonna 2004.
Hollantilaistyylisen tuulimyllyn ympärille on rakennettu lomakylä; lomatalo, perheasunto, saunarakennus ja 3 puutarhamökkiä. Lähellä on tenniskenttä, minigolfrata ja grillausmahdollisuus, jotka ovat maksuttomia. Isäntäperhe asuu lähistöllä.
Saarenmaalle ajaessa Pivarootsin tuulimyllylomakylä sijaitsee 9 km ennen Virtsun satamaa, mikä on hyvä paikka lomailla. Kahden tai useamman yön varauksissa jokainen seuraava yö on halvempi ja viides yö on ilmainen. Kuressaare 90 km, Haapsalu 70 km ja Pärnu 60 km ovat tunnin ajomatkan päässä ja Tallinna 130 km kahden tunnin ajomatkan päässä. Tämä on hyvä vaihtoehto yhdeksi yöksi saarella tai pääkaupungissa.
Tarjoamme mahdollisuuden pelata tennistä, minigolfia ja pyöräillä varaamalla etukäteen. Suosittelemme Puhtulaiun niemimaan luonnonsuojelualueen vierailua lahden toisella puolella 7 km ja Matsalun kansainvälisen luonnonsuojelualueen vierailua 25 km. Kauniita luontokohteita ovat Tuhun suo 18 km ja Saleveren lehtomäki 20 km. Lintujen tarkkailu on mahdollista keväällä ja syksyllä.
Nykyään tuulimyllyn ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on ruokailutila avokeittiöllä ja pieni saunakompleksi, johon kuuluu pukuhuone, kodinhoitohuone ja höyrysauna. Toisessa kerroksessa on takkahuone ja oma makuuhuone (sviitti) omalla kylpyhuoneella. Kolmannen kerroksen suurta pyöreää huonetta käytetään yleensä kokouspaikkana. Neljännessä kerroksessa sijaitsee Neuvostoliiton aikaisen Viron taideteollisuusmuseo. Viidennen kerroksen kattoparvelta on upeat näkymät maisemaan ja merelle. Tuulimyllykierros on saatavilla pyynnöstä.
