Beskrivning av semesteranläggningen
Den holländskt byggda väderkvarnen som tillhör en lokal herrgård ligger 9 km före Virtsu, i byn Pivarootsi i västra Estland, 700 m promenad från havet. Väderkvarnen byggdes 1869 och restaurerades 2004.
En semesterby har byggts runt en holländsk väderkvarn; ett semesterhus, ett familjehus, ett bastuhus och 3 trädgårdshus. I närheten finns en tennisbana, minigolfbanor och grillmöjligheter som är kostnadsfria. Värdfamiljen bor i närheten.
När man kör till Saaremaa ligger väderkvarnssemesterbyn Pivarootsi före Virtsu hamn, 9 km, vilket är ett bra ställe att semestra på. Vid bokning av två eller fler nätter är varje efterföljande natt billigare och den femte natten är gratis. Kuressaare 90 km, Haapsalu 70 km och Pärnu 60 km ligger en timmes bilresa bort och Tallinn 130 km ligger två timmar bort. Detta är ett bra alternativ för en natt på ön eller i huvudstaden.
Vi erbjuder möjligheten att spela tennis, minigolf och cykla genom att boka i förväg. Vi rekommenderar att besöka naturreservatet Puhtulaiuhalvön 7 km över viken och Matsalu internationella naturreservat 25 km. Vackra naturplatser är Tuhu-träsket 18 km och Salevere-lunden 20 km. Fågelskådning är tillgängligt på vår och höst.
Idag inrymmer väderkvarnens första våning en matsal med öppet kök och ett litet bastukomplex bestående av omklädningsrum, tvättstuga och ångbastu. Andra våningen har en öppen spis och ett privat sovrum (svit) med eget badrum. Det stora runda rummet på tredje våningen används vanligtvis som konferenslokal. På fjärde våningen finns museet för sovjettidens estniska tillämpade konst. Takgalleriet på femte våningen erbjuder en underbar utsikt över landskapet och havet. En rundtur i väderkvarnen finns tillgänglig på begäran.
